ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. PLANNING

Planning Capability:

    • Take the lead overall Planning stages (IMC and Social), and balance the creative side of the advertising agency and the business side of the client side.
    • Come up with communication plans to support and help clients enhance their business performance. Mango’s communication solutions don’t play alone as a specific plan of PR, Activation, or Digital Advertising, the Planning Manager should be able to integrate communication plans but lead by digital.
    • Put down directions for approach and guide the creative team/account team by creative brief. Fine-tune to match with the agreed approach. Consolidate deck and lead presentation.
    • Overview and set up the effective KPIs for projects.
    • Consult clients on the ways for successful communication methods by communication plan.
    • Review and report campaigns to clients and take key learning for the next campaigns/plans.
    • Guide and lead case study submissions for Mango Digital for Advertising Awards.

Data & Analytic Capability: 

    • Understand YouNet Group products: Social listening tool to collaborate effectively with the Data Analyst & Social team.
    • Connect and work closely with Buzzmetrics, YouNet Media for the approach‘s proven data and consumer insights from social reports if any.
    • Conduct the research queries to get more relevant insights for cracking the brief to solve clients’ problems.

Methodology Development:

    • Support the Managing Director to work with internal stakeholders to develop and implement the new methodology for Mango Digital. 

2. LEADERSHIP

    • Build up good collaborative attitudes with other departments and solve everyone’s difficulties; listen to team members‘ difficulties and motivate them; give recognition for good performance as well as managing poor performance.

3. MANAGEMENT

    • Work with MD to optimize the working process for the Planning department (a collaboration between the Strategic Planning and Data Analytics team), execute, and QC.
    • Work with MD to improve organizational structure and develop new business direction if any.

Work collaboratively with other teams, including:

    • Internal team: Account, Creative, Social and Media.
    • Internal company in YouNet Group: Marketing Service (YouNet AM, Fanscom), Social Intelligence (Buzzmetrics, YouNet Media), Ecommerce Intelligence (YouNet ECI).

Report to: Managing Director
Promotion: To be discussed (based on current position)

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge:

    • Experience in many industries such as FMCG, dairy, insurance, electronics, home appliances, etc.
    • Experience in building Brand and support Marketing strategy for Clients following popular marketing models to support business performance.

Skills:

    • Presentation skills
    • Be able to read & understand Social Listening Reports and apply in the planning stage
    • Be able to ensure the quality of campaigns from concept can be fully delivered in execution phases
    • Strong leadership & people management skills
    • Working under ‘agency side‘ pressure
    • Collaborative in teamwork

Experience:

    • At least 5 years of experience in planning roles
    • IMC Strategy Planning/Social Strategy Planning
