We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who can own and elevate a working BD system by sharpening the process, executing consistently, and driving more strategic, high-value deals.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and executional sharpness, someone who can see the big picture, yet knows how to close real deals on the ground.
You won’t need to build everything from scratch, but you’ll need to challenge what exists, level it up, and make it scale with clarity, logic, and commercial impact.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Business Development Manager is responsible for creating long-term value for the company from customers, markets, and relationships.
1. Sales Process Ownership & Refinement

- Absorb and refine existing sales processes (CRM flow, decks, proposal templates, use cases)
- Spot gaps in qualification, follow-up, objection handling
- Standardize reusable playbooks/tools to help team scale
- Improve sales hygiene, logic, and closure discipline
2. Revenue Generation & Execution

- Own a pipeline of new and warm leads
- Close strategic deals to generate early momentum
- Revive & convert previously dropped/frozen deals
- Improve AOV and conversion rate (CR) vs. team baseline
- Elevate deal quality by identifying higher-value client needs and structuring solution-oriented proposals
3. Team Development & Performance Uplift

- Co-sell with junior BD(s) and help close deals through coaching
- Run structured training: pitch, sales logic, objection handling
- Codify team standards, rituals, and development path
- Shift team mindset from product-selling to consultative solution-selling, especially for mid-to-large deals
Promotion: Can be promoted to Business Development Director
Report to: Business Director
REQUIREMENTS

- 6-8 years in B2B sales, Proven background in consultative or solution-based selling, not just quota-chasing or transactional sales.
- Proven deal execution (ideally mid-to-large AOV) and pipeline ownership
- Has improved or structured sales process before
- Comfortable coaching others through co-work, not just theory
- Strong logic, commercial judgment, and documentation skills
- Pragmatic, and motivated by ownership over time
