We are looking for a seasoned operations leader to join our Executive team as VP of Operations. In this role, you will:
- Own and scale our core and newly acquired business lines across SEA
- Drive integration and operational excellence in M&A targets
- Partner with the CEO to manage additional business lines as assigned
- (Optionally) Oversee key back-office functions—HR, Infrastructure & Operations (I&O), Finance & Accounting (F&A), Business Intelligence (BI), etc.—to ensure they deliver best-in-class service and cost efficiency
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Regional Business Line Leadership
- Lead P&L accountability, growth strategy and performance metrics for all SEA business lines
- Plan and execute go-to-market, pricing and service-delivery models tailored to each market
- Champion seamless integration of acquired businesses—harmonizing processes, systems and cultures
2. Back-Office Oversight (as assigned)
- Provide strategic direction and governance for HR, I&O, F&A, BI and other support functions
- Define and track KPIs, budgets and SLAs in partnership with Functional Heads
- Embed YouNet Group’s policies, controls and compliance standards across all operations
3. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with the CEO and Executive Committee to set 3–5 year operational roadmaps
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting and regular performance reviews—identifying gaps and corrective actions
4. Process Optimization & Automation
- Lead continuous-improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs and improve service levels
- Sponsor digital-transformation projects and rollout of best-practice operating models
5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Build, mentor and retain high–performing, cross-functional teams across markets
- Act as the primary liaison between Business Unit Heads, Functional Heads and the CEO
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and data-driven decision-making
6. Risk Management & Compliance
- Own operational risk frameworks, audit processes and business-continuity plans
- Ensure all business lines comply with local regulations, group policies and industry best practices
Report to: Group CEO
Benefit: Basic Salary, 13th month salary, Performance Bonus, ESOP Package
Promotion: Can be promoted to COO, CEO
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Engineering or related; MBA or equivalent preferred
- 10+ years in senior operations roles, with demonstrable P&L ownership, M&A integration and multi-country expansion—ideally within SEA
- Proven track record overseeing back-office functions (HR, F&A, I&O, BI) in a matrixed organization
- Strong strategic-planning, analytical and project-management skills
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and cross-cultural leadership abilities
- Fluent in English; proficiency in another SEA language is a plus
