We are looking for a Regional M&A & Partnership Director (SEA) to drive the expansion of The Qualified Marcom (TQMC) Framework into local agencies across Southeast Asia. This role goes beyond partnership building – it is about identifying, enabling, and acquiring agencies that can become part of the TQMC ecosystem.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Scouting & Targeting

    • Identify tier-2 creative/digital agencies across SEA (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore).
    • Assess agencies based on financial health, client portfolio, founder mindset, and cultural fit.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified M&A/investment targets.

Enablement via TQMC

    • Introduce and implement the TQMC framework in selected agencies through pilots and co-pitches.
    • Demonstrate how TQMC helps agencies win new clients, retain accounts, and prove sales impact.
    • Establish TQMC as a unique competitive advantage to drive long-term adoption.

Deal Structuring & Execution

    • Lead negotiations with agency founders on investment/acquisition models (minority 35–49% → majority control).
    • Define deal terms: valuation, equity split, earn-out structure, call/put options.
    • Partner with legal/finance teams to ensure due diligence and deal closing.

Regional Strategy & Expansion

    • Develop a SEA-wide network of TQMC-enabled agencies.
    • Build synergy between local agencies and the YouNet Group ecosystem (data, technology, client network).
    • Establish a roadmap for scaling minority stakes into majority acquisitions.

Relationship & Industry Positioning

    • Represent TQMC in regional conferences, industry associations, and networking events.
    • Act as a strategic bridge between YouNet Group HQ and local agency founders.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

    • 10+ years experience in agency leadership, business development, M&A, or strategic partnerships.
    • Strong network in the SEA agency landscape (digital, creative, integrated).
    • Proven deal-making track record: M&A, joint ventures, partnerships.
    • Deep understanding of marketing/communication and martech/adtech trends.
    • Strong negotiation skills, financial acumen, and ability to assess valuations.
    • Fluent in English; additional SEA languages (Thai, Bahasa, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Mandarin) are a plus.
    • Willingness to travel frequently across SEA markets.

SUCCESS METRICS (KPIS)

    • Number of agencies scouted & evaluated per year.
    • Number of TQMC enablement pilots/co-pitches successfully executed.
    • Number and value of M&A/investment deals closed.
    • Revenue and client growth from enabled agencies.
    • Expansion and regional footprint of TQMC-enabled agency network.
