This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring Insight Expert to join a leading force in the Social Media Research industry. Within the Consumer Insight team, specifically the CI/Trend function, you will be pivotal in deciphering consumer understanding through diverse data sources, including social listening, interview data, and more. You‘ll have the chance to uncover the beauty of data, derive inspiring insights, and explore the underlying reasons for consumer behavior – the ‘reasons behind the reasons.
 
Moreover, this role offers significant potential for growth in management skills and people management, as you will be expected to lead projects, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to team development. You will also be responsible for ensuring efficient project execution and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

WHAT IS JOB PURPOSE? 

To lead customized research projects, harnessing the power of social data and AI technology, to deliver profound insights and strategic consultancy to clients, enabling them to optimize their social media marketing effectiveness. Simultaneously, to build and manage a dynamic team, fostering development and collaboration to achieve common goals. 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Data Analyst & Reporting (50%) 

  • Lead the execution of marketing research studies by compiling, analyze study results to actionable reports, data-based conclusions and recommendations in a concise and presentations.
  • Design and conduct syndicated research for internal & external team.
  • Update social media hot topic/trend for internal team and client. Propose the meaningful insight from hot topic/trend for client.

Project management (45%) 

  • Independently manage and execute internal projects, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Drive projects to successful completion, delivering high-quality outputs on time and within scope. 

Client Servicing (5%) 

  • Manage and cultivate strong client relationships, providing strategic consultancy on complex ad-hoc analyses.
  • Independently solicit and analyze client feedback, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement in project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Present comprehensive reports to management, outlining key findings and strategic recommendations. 

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Marketing or a related field

Knowledge

  • Ability to understand market research results and use these results along with in-market data to pull together a story
  • Knowledge of basic statistics is an advantage

Skill

  • Good data visualization & preparation skills
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration in a global environment
  • Ability to manage personal workload and to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Able to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to clearly pull together a story that will resonate with the client
  • Trend catching
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint). Proficient in SPSS is an advantage

Experience

  • 2 year experience in marketing field
  • Have an experience in social listening is an advantage
  • Have an experience in MNC is an advantage
  • Previous market research exposure is an advantage
