We are seeking a Planning Manager specializing in Social Creative and Social Advocacy (Channel/Influencer/Seeding) Planning. In this role, you will lead strategic campaigns and drive impactful social advocacy initiatives that resonate with our audience, achieve measurable results, and ultimately support our mission of driving meaningful client business impact.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. PLANNING (80%)
Planning Capability:
Overview:
-
- Take the lead in the planning stages, and balance the social creative side/ social advocacy side (influencer/channel/seeding) of the advertising agency with the business side of the client.
- Imply understand current and emerging Social/ Digital Communication platforms, Trending Creative Formats, and Consumer’s usage & Behaviors for a better deployment plan.
Pre-campaign Planning (Pitching):

- Conduct the research queries and work closely with the Internal Teams/ Data Team to explore the relevant insights.
- Come up with a communication approach, debrief the Creative/Social Team, channel mix, and measure of success. Consolidate deck and lead presentation.
- Overview and set up the practical measure of success in communication that answers the campaign’s objectives / Campaign goals.
Campaign Measurement & Report:

- Review and report campaigns to clients and take key learning for the following campaigns/plans.
Data & Analytic Capability:
-
- Understanding YouNet Group products is a plus: Social listening tool to collaborate effectively with the Data Analyst & Social team.
- Connect and work closely with Buzzmetrics, YouNet Media for the approach‘s proven data and consumer insights from social reports if any.
- Conduct the research queries to get more relevant insights for cracking the brief to solve clients’ problems.
Methodology Development:

- Support the Managing Director in working with internal stakeholders to develop and implement the new methodology for Fanscom.
2. LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT (20%)
-
- Build up good collaborative attitudes with other departments and solve everyone’s difficulties; listen to team members‘ difficulties and motivate them; give recognition for good performance and manage unexpected performance.

- Work with MD to optimize the working process for the Planning department (a collaboration between the Strategic Planning and Data Analytics team), execute, and QC.
- Work with MD to improve organizational structure and develop new business direction if any.
Work collaboratively with other teams, including:

- Internal team: Account, Creative, Social (Social Influencers & Social Media)
- Internal company in YouNet Group: Marketing Service (YouNet AM, Mango Digital), Social Intelligence (Buzzmetrics, YouNet Media), Ecommerce Intelligence (YouNet ECI).

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge:
-
- Experience in many industries such as FMCG, dairy, insurance, electronics, home appliances, etc.
- Experience in building Marketing strategies for Clients following popular marketing models to support business performance.

- Be able to read & understand Social Listening Reports and apply in the planning stage
- Be able to ensure the quality of campaigns from concept can be fully delivered in execution phases

Experience:
-
- At least 5 years of experience in planning roles
- IMC Strategy Planning/Social Strategy Planning/ Social Influencer / Social Advocacy Planning
