ABOUT YOUNET GROUP

YouNet Group is the pioneering Data Intelligence Group for Digital Commerce in Southeast Asia — the first ecosystem to own and unify both Social and E-commerce data platforms, transforming them into integrated intelligence systems that deliver Actionable Insights and Practical Solutions for digital commerce.

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) — a strategic yet hands-on leader who will build and run the operational backbone of YouNet Group, ensuring financial discipline, operational excellence, and organizational scalability as we expand across Southeast Asia.

This is a pivotal leadership role that will help YouNet evolve from a founder-led organization into a system-led and regionally scalable enterprise, paving the way for IPO readiness (UPCoM 2029) and long-term sustainable growth.

 

SCOPE OF WORK

a. Operational Leadership

    • Lead all Group-level back-office functions: HR & Admin, Finance & Accounting, IT, BI and Legal/Compliance.
    • Establish a data-driven, KPI-based management system (BSC–KPI, OKR) across all business units.
    • Ensure operational scalability for a multi-company, multi-country structure (Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand).
    • Oversee compliance with YouNet’s governance, processes, and cultural values.
    • Drive continuous improvement and automation across operations to enhance efficiency and transparency.

b. Financial Discipline

    • Drive P&L consolidation, cashflow management, and financial compliance at both Group and company levels.
    • Ensure tax efficiency, budget discipline, and cost optimization while supporting healthy growth.
    • Oversee overhead allocation (OH model) and financial reporting for regional scalability.
    • Collaborate with the CEO and VP of Finance to support M&A, investor relations, and capital raising initiatives.

c. People & Organization

    • Strengthen HR systems: recruitment, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
    • Ensure leadership and capability growth aligned with the YouNetians Life Career Model (Junior → Senior → Manager → Shareholder/Partner).
    • Foster a high-performance and values-driven culture built on ownership, integrity, collaboration, and discipline.
    • Partner with the Group CEO and Vice HRD to shape the next-generation leadership pipeline across SEA.

d. Process & Risk Management

    • Build and standardize governance systems across Finance, HR, IT Security, and Legal.
    • Drive digital transformation and process automation to enable faster and more reliable operations.
    • Oversee risk management and compliance for all operations and cross-border entities.
    • Ensure audit readiness and transparent reporting across all business units.

REQUIREMENTS

Background

    • 12–20 years of experience in Finance and/or Operations leadership roles.
    • Proven success as a COO, CFO, or VP of Operations in mid-to-large organizations (≥300 headcount).
    • Experience in agency, data, technology, or MarTech environments is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to scale organizations from mid-size to regional level (300 → 600+ headcount).
    • Deep understanding of multi-P&L governance, operational processes, and cross-functional alignment.

  • Reports to: Group CEO (Founder)
  • Works closely with:
    • CBO (Chief Business Officer) – for growth and revenue synergy
    • Managing Directors – for P&L alignment and operational readiness
    • Business Advisor & PMO – for strategic execution and governance
